Arts

At IBS West Campus, we strive to offer an introduction to art starting in the final year of nursery school in order to develop our pupils' creativity and artistic talents.

We firmly believe that artistic expression is a fundamental pillar of personal fulfilment and contributes to the overall development of a child. This early approach allows students to discover their creative abilities and build their self-confidence through the creation of personal works of art.

Our pupils are offered the opportunity to discover and practice graphic arts, enabling them to develop their imagination. Beyond the simple pleasure of creating, these artistic activities enrich their visual vocabulary, refine their fine motor skills and stimulate their powers of observation. Our pupils explore a variety of techniques, including drawing, painting, collage and modelling, as well as digital arts, offering them a wide range of creative expression.

Art education also promotes cultural openness and the discovery of heritage. Our pupils are introduced to the works of artists from different eras and cultures, developing their aesthetic sense and understanding of the world. This intercultural dimension fits perfectly with our international school project, where art becomes a universal language that transcends language barriers and unites our pupils in a shared creative passion.
